If Darth Vader Was a Purse by Bolsa Bonita

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of chatting with Liz Potter, creator of Bolsa Bonita bags. She told Purseuing that "Designing purses for me is about making something truly unique for women who want more than what’s at the mall". I found each of the Bolsa Bonita bags to be very unique, and simply full of charm. Possibly the most unique thing I spotted was the printed fortune sewn to the back of most styles. The fortune varies from bag to bag and truly sets them apart from anything I've ever seen. Shown here, the "If Darth Vader was a Purse" bag from the Splurge collection has become my favorite and if you can't see how this bag got its name then I’m not going to tell. (I'll give you a hint: That looks like the frickin’ Death Star, people!) Made of Dupioni silk, the bag has a bright red appliqué with a circular top stitch, all completely handmade. Just think, for $90 you can carry a little piece of the dark side with you where ever you go.

Clever is this designer. The force is strong with her.
