Hayden-Harnett Handbags

Sometimes it’s the story behind the designer that makes its way into my heart and on to the front page of Purseuing. Sometimes it's the bags themselves -- so incredibly unique and/or beautiful that my blog simply refuses to go on without them. And sometimes, as in the case of Hayden-Harnett Handbags, it's both.

Based out of Brooklyn, Hayden-Harnett is ran by Toni (long-time handbag designer), Ben (fashion company computer-guy) and Py (Siamese, special-agent purse-kitty). Together, they put their "love of beauty and utility, of travel and adventure, and respect for quality products" into making some of the most chic and original handbags I've witnessed in a while. The company, whose brand has been featured in Lucky and is currently being sold at Searle NYC, has not only thrived on a hit canvas line, but is now enjoying the success of a new, stylish leather collection released earlier this Fall.
