Dior Tie-Dye Crocodile Detective Bag

Much to my surprise, this month’s issue of Elle magazine features an article about the direction John Galliano, designer for Dior, is taking the popular Detective bag this fall. According to the article, this season will reveal a limited-edition tie-dye crocodile Detective bag that will start at $18,240. Galliano, who is credited with being the first to successfully tie-dye crocodile leather, states that this bag is for both "the hippie chick that grew up and the classicist who's a rocker at heart". The Tie-Dye Detective bag from Dior by Galliano is said to come in red, lilac and brown and will be available at select Dior boutiques nationwide. Purseuing projects that your estimated time on the waiting list for this bag will be: A frickin' decade.
